Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer! Early Childhood & Family Education (EC&FE) has many volunteer opportunities.  They range from one-time events to on-going individual activities.  Our goal is to give parents and community members the opportunity to get involved – no level of involvement is too little!

How do I get started volunteering with ECFE?
Please click on the appropriate link to complete your Volunteer Application.
Application tips:
  • Use your name as it appears on your Driver’s License (or Government Issued ID) and bring your ID every time you visit or volunteer onsite.
  • Be specific on areas of volunteer interest.
  • Be specific on student(s) and teacher(s) name(s) to aid in contacting you for opportunities.
Q: Do I need to complete multiple Volunteer Applications for each school my children attend?
A: NO!  While completing the online application, you can select one or multiple schools you would like to volunteer at.
Q: If I completed a paper application in the past, do I still need to do one online this year?
A: YES!  There are no longer any paper applications, so all volunteers need to fill one out online each school year.
Q: I have small children at home – what will I do with them?
A: Most EC&FE project requests are available to take home.  When an onsite project is requested, it will be indicated if             you are able to bring your children along (at Arbor View only).
Q: I can probably volunteer once or twice a year.  Should I still complete the Volunteer Application?
A: YES!  We’ll take any amount of time you can give.  No level of involvement is too little.

For more information and/or questions, please contact me.  I look forward to working with you and helping you get involved with EC&FE!
